Outstanding Family Advocate award

Baton Rouge, La. — Rep. Simone Champagne was awarded the Outstanding Family Advocate award by Louisiana Family Forum Action, Thursday, September 29, 2011.

Champagne Receives Perfect Score As Family Advocate

Jeanerette, LA, August 16, 2011 - Rep. Simone Champagne will receive the “Outstanding Family Advocate” award in September given by the Louisiana Family Forum Action group. Champagne earned a 100 percent score. The scorecard evaluates both senators and House members by tracking how those officials voted during the past legislative session.

This is the third year Champagne receives this award. “I’m honored to again receive this award and continue to stand up for pro-life, conservative and family values,” Champagne stated. “I’m committed to cutting government waste, attracting new businesses and supporting existing businesses to help our economy grow.”

Champagne represents House District 49 in Iberia and Vermilion parishes.

The Louisiana Family Forum Action is a conservative group that “believes elected officials should support policies and programs that protect and promote families and traditional values in Louisiana.”
